Project Monitoring 13.02.14

This week has been a very productive week, I have been able to get on well with another double page spread and I have really got far with it, this means I have more or less finished 2 double page spreads and finished my contents and front cover, I changed my front cover, I changed my fonts and the layout to make sure that my front cover looks a lot more dynamic and a lot more like a front cover as I feel the fonts made it look a bit childish and silly, the fonts I chose were 'Rockwell' and 'Fragile Bombers' and I chose these as they are a lot more dynamic and professional than my others, they made my magazine look a lot better.

 I feel I have come a long way with my front cover and it looks a lot better now than it did before, looks more attractive and appealing.

I feel I have come a long way and I have also done my Double Page Spread, I havent fully followed my flat plans but I feel it looks a lot better and a lot more dynamic.

I feel I have come a long way and it looks rather good, I feel it looks good with the colour schemes and the different fonts.  The fonts I have used are a lot stronger and in your face. The two fonts that I used were 'American Purpose' and "Headline One' I feel these fonts were a lot smarter and a lot more professional and it made it look better, another tecnhique i used was text wrap I have used this before and I feel it looks effective and verty clever, i also again used poloroid as it is a small effect that looks really clever and professional, another thing that I did was use drop cap as this draws your eye to the start of the article.

As for my schedule this week I was suppose to be getting on with my Double Page spreads and I have done, I am very up to date with them.

Project Monitoring 06.02.2014

This week I have been finishing off my contents page, and I feel now that it is nearly finished, another thing that I got under way this week was one of my double page spreads of my 3rd article 'Try Harder' and I feel like I have come far with this and it is nearly done, It doesnt exactly look like my flat plan but I feel it looks a lot better than how I planned, I feel that it looks a lot neater and a lot more organised, I have kept the same colour scheme through out my magazine so it looks a lot more controlled and organised and I fel the blue and black I have chosen are good colours that can be shown to boys. My week so far has been very productive I feel, due to the fact I have got a lot done and have done pretty well with keeping my time. I feel it went rather smoothly and ran well, this is purley because I worked hard this week, got my head down and tried to achieve something this week, on MondayI opted to finish my contents as I felt if I got that out of the way it would help me move a long well, and on Tuesday and Wednesday I started and got on with my Double Page Spread, I feel this was a good thning to do as it meant my productiom would go well along.

 According to my schedule I was meant to be starting the templates for my Double Page Spread's I was meant to be able to be adding things in and designing them, but I decided that it would be a good idea to just start my 3rd one as it meant it would be moving forward well and be getting a lot done. I added some poloroid pictures in to my DPS as I thought it would be clever and look good, I am happy with that because I think it allows the reader to see a lot more photos and it not to be too text heavy, it seems a bit plain and I feel there isnt a lot of colour so I feel that I could maybe try add in some colour.
